 Threat to Gear Restricted Waters in Michigan

The Michigan Darkhouse Angling Association (spear fishermen) has introduced a resolution that the Michigan United Conservation Club will consider at their annual convention in June at the RAM Center. In the resolution the MDAA asks the DNR to stop gear restrictions or in their words, "reserving bodies of water for select groups of fishermen. This is aimed at Flys Only water such as the Holy Water of the Au Sable.
